In this artistic exploration, the anthropological relationship between textile and space is identified and further examined, focusing on the potentials inherent in the textile–body relationship. One aspect of this investigation is the ambivalence between attraction and repulsion that materials exert within the space–body relationship. The interface between the transformability and autonomy of textiles in space, and their effect on the body, is further explored on an artistic level, with the aim of constructing a fragmented textile spatial experience. In this sense, an affect-programmed space is conceived through the use of diverse materials and fragments characterized by haptic qualities such as softness and hardness, transparency/translucency, and opacity. The result is a full-body experience: positioned within a space of materiality and textile tableaux, the viewer does not remain a passive observer but becomes actively immersed in the environment. Through the enigmatic quality of the bizarre fragments, the everyday recedes into the background, giving rise to a distinctly surreal effect.

The fragments speak loudly without uttering a word. Through these works, a surreal and nostalgic effect of past rituals is achieved. A dreamlike atmosphere emerges from the unexpected and unusual combinations of various materials and traditional crafts such as embroidery, weaving, ceramics, and metalwork. The spectacular light photographs by the spiritualists of the 1920s, who sought to convince others of the parapsychological phenomenon and spirits, inspired the artistic process. The staging of spirits in the form of white ectoplasm and the atmosphere of séances have left traces in the work.
